A Morning of Local Coffee

Happy Saturday! This morning my mom and I (being the impulsive, spontaneous people we are) decided to take a little trip to Huntsville and have a little photoshoot and local coffee morning. I’m so happy with how all of the photos came out, and also very, very caffeinated😁

Alchemy at The Camp

Our first stop of the day was one I had been wanting to check out ever since construction started. Alchemy has been my favorite coffee shop for a while now, and they recently opened at new location at The Camp, one of the first installations in what will be MidCity Huntsville. The Camp, along with the Alchemy bar, is a little outdoor area with umbrella tables and stools, lounge chairs, and vintage trailers. There’s a stage for live entertainment, and a food truck that’ll open with the Grand Opening.

The outdoor area has plenty of space, and you can easily opt for either sunlight or shade. The vintage campers and string lights surrounding the area are absolutely precious, and the atmosphere is just amazing!

Alchemy at The Camp has a a super-cool Grab-and-Go fridge, and my mom and I opted for the Breakfast Box with fresh fruit and muffins and the Protein Box with grilled chicken and cheese. I also enjoyed a cup of their cold brew with almond milk.

The Camp also had a little area with hammocks, which just about made me the happiest girl ever!

While supporting local coffee, I was also repping my favorite local shop, Leaf In Creek at Parkway Place Mall. Both my sweater and necklace are from their boutique, and I absolutely love both of these pieces! My favorite part of LIC is that they’re an entirely locally owned business 😉

Angel’s Island Coffee

The second place was another spot that I had been wanting to check out for a while, and we finally made the trip this morning. This is another locally owned shop, and their caramel macchiato and chicken salad sandwich were to die for! The building was complete with murals perfect for Instagram pics!

Honest Coffee Roasters

Our last coffee stop was in beautiful Downtown HSV. Honest Coffee was a super cute, trendy spot with the BEST smoothie bowl I’ve ever tasted. Since I’d already had two cups of coffee, I opted for some Piper&Leaf chai tea 😁

The simple black and white walls offered perfect photo ops as well!

Bonus photo op…

Right as mom and I were leaving the downtown parking garage, we spotted the 1818 Farms Flower Truck, and I had to hop out of the car!

I had so much fun wandering around Huntsville coffee shops this morning, and I’m so glad we spotted the flower truck! If you make the trip to any of these places, let me know what you had and what you thought of it! Thank you always for reading!

stay sweet, Sophia ❤

  1. Wow Sophia! You really had a great day, it seems. All the photographs looks stunning. Loved the colors and tones they radiate. Were they all taken by smartphone?

Also, I suppose your mom took all these pictures. In that case, she is a wonderful photographer. Convey my regards to her as well 🙂 Take care.
